This Must be the Band

this is the new landing page for thismustbetheband.com, but as you can tell there isn’t much to it at this point. long story short, the band is on hiatus from public shows.

we want to say how thankful we are to everyone who was involved – bandmates, fans, venues, everyone. thanks from the bottom of our hearts. we’ve all moved on to new things, so if you want to catch up with bandmates, follow the links below:

Jamie Jay – bassist – currently lives in Denver, manages one of TMBTB’s favorite venues, Cervantes, and plays in multiple bands, including a Bob Marley Tribute named “Wake Up and Live“

Charlie Otto – lead singer – you’re currently on charlie otto’s website, he makes lots of music with all these band members and many more, his solo electronic act is called “charlie otto + his gear“

Kasey Foster -backup singer/dancer – Kasey is an actor/artistic director at Lookingglass Theatre, and does a lot of extra stuff that you can keep up with by going to her website.

Alan Maniacek – drummer – plays in a bunch of different bands including Wild Earp and takes amazing photos as In the Black Photography

Pat Sweeney – percussion – your guess is as good as mine as to what Pat Sweeney is up to. last time i saw him he had been attacked by bees.

Jim Dinou – keys – Jim is a proud father and makes amazing music with multiple bands, including Cosmic Bull
